The Team at IndieLover

IndieLover’s mission is to provide a space for collaboration for fans of the indie and alternative music genres to dissect song lyrics and find deeper meanings. Founded in 2023, IndieLover has launched a mobile app that allows users to connect with each other and their favorite artists in a discussion board format. The Team at IndieLover has an unmatched love for indie music and interpreting lyrics. We want to help you get that one lyric out of your head and have fun in the process.

I began studying corporate innovations and entrepreneurship at The Pennsylvania State University in 2021. I always knew I wanted to run my own business and be my own boss. Combining the knowledge I gained from school and my love for indie music, I decided to create an app that would encourage collaboration and the expansion of my own as well as others’ music tastes. Partnering with Bobby in 2023 has helped bring my simple idea to life and I can’t wait to expand this app.

I partnered with Emma in 2023 to help execute and perfect the design of IndieLover. I received a Bachelor’s in software design from The Pennsylvania State University in 2020. My background in app design presented me with the skills I needed to join the Team at IndieLover. I look forward to expanding the app to include a wide variety of artists so that all users, myself included, can diversify their music tastes and collaborate.

  2. What artists are featured on IndieLover? Artists featured on IndieLover include Phoebe Bridgers, Mitski, Tame Impala, The 1975, and more. The list of artists will continue to grow with the app.
  3. How do I get rid of ads on IndieLover? Users that upgrade to the premium version of the app will rid the appearance of ads on their screen. 
  4. How do I download IndieLover? This app is available for iOS and Android. You can find a download link by navigating to the Home Page of this website.
